DataWind launches UbiSlate 7Cx, 3G7 and 9Ci Android tablets

Datawind, the manufacturer of Aakash tablets, has launched three affordable Android tablets under its UbiSlate series – the UbiSlate 7Cx, UbiSlate 3G7 and UbiSlate 9Ci. The first two are 7-inch tablets which come equipped with voice calling capabilities, while the UbiSlate 9Ci offers a 9-inch display and data connectivity over Wi-Fi. These tablets are priced between Rs 3,999 to Rs 6,999.

The UbiSlate 7Cx is the cheapest among the three tablets and is available for Rs 3,999. Talking of specifications, it comes with a 7-inch TFT display and runs on a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal memory. Micromax launches tablet- Canvas Tab P650

Micromax has launched the Canvas Tab P650, the company’s first tablet in the Canvas series. It has a 8-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) multi-touch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
